You guys just keep getting better with each release. There are not enough modern progressive rock bands. Keep up the excellent work. Can't wait to see you guys live.

'Fence the clear' was my introduction to Tiles back in 1997. At first sight (well, hearing to be exact) I thought I had discovered a band that carried on Rush' legacy. Even though there are similarities between both bands musically, several spins later I realized I had discovered a true original that has always occupied a league of its own. Needless to say I bought the first Tiles CD as well (replaced the first two CDs by their extended re-releases later on) and have kept track of the band's catalogue since. What I love about Tiles' music is the sheer adventure I am invited to embark upon with each track. 'Fly paper' carries the tale just a bit further than 'Window dressing' did. Great songs, great production, magnificent artwork once again- eerie with 'Crowded emptiness'! This CD will be in my player for some time to come! Thanks for this! Ron.

John - Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 8:31 PM EST
I saw you guys at record time tonight and I'll have to say, you guys rock.

Hey guys,

I'm very interesting in purchasing your new album... finally another Tiles :-D

My band Picture of the Moon has a new EP out on June 1.
Listen to a track in our discography section (search for Picture of the Moon in Google and you should be able to find it).

If you visit The Netherlands for a gig or two, we would be honoured to play as your support act.

Greetings,

Michiel

Greetings from the UK ! I bought Window Dressing having chanced upon a good review - really like it - since bought Tiles & Presents of Mind - as a long time fan of Max Webster , Rush , Zappa , Dixie Dregs its great to discover a new band capable of combining great musicianship with good songs and thoughtful lyrics - looking forward to the next CD - cheers

Scott Stefanski - Thursday, October 26th, 2006 6:33 PM EDT
Guys, I look forward to hearing the new stuff. Keep rockin'!

Dave Baker - Tuesday, July 4th, 2006 4:50 PM EDT
How lucky am i to have this band in my hometown??!! Been a fan for a long time. Saw you guys for the first time at Lillys-opening that set with Checkerboards. WOW Looking foward to the new album.

Jon Lyndon - Monday, May 22nd, 2006 7:28 AM EDT
Your texTiles 'Window Dressing' appeals strongly to my progressively heavy-metal taste. I've been a listener to R U S H since 1980 and have heard a lot of 'take offs' (as well as Dream Theater, Yes, etc...). You guys do your gangster of things quite well. Listening to the samples (Spindrift) is a pleasure; & I will be buying your stuff... yes. Bravo! "Tear-Water Tea" is wonderful. "Capture The Flag" rocks, nicely. Love the guitar breaks/bridges. Didacts and Narpets to you. Well done.

Tom - Thursday, May 11th, 2006 6:16 AM EDT
Hi all,

I saw you 1999, as you supported DT in germany and I was very impressed from your perfoming.
Well, and now I found your Website. It's real interesting, to read about the details of the band and teh success, you had at the last years.
Well, at least I'll thank you all for the free giveway of the mp3-songs. I enjoy listen it and put it in the ears of my friends, who didn't hear anything before from TILE.
I wish you further success and a good time for the future.

Rock on - Tom

Where've you been all my life? Knowing you guys first could've make me save a bundle on redundant progressive bands! Thank you for making intelligent, challenging and yet entertaining music. And don't be ashamed to sound a tad like Rush, it only means you have taste!

Joe Ellavich - Sunday, April 2nd, 2006 12:14 PM EDT

You guys put on a fantastic performance at Rosfest! Tough time of the day to hold a crowd too, but you did it, and then some! Good musicianship. It was great meeting you and look forward to catching you guys sometime in the future. Wish you much success.

Mike Ettore - Monday, April 25th, 2005 11:53 AM EDT
Not too much action on the board lately. Too bad. Maybe things will work out down the road. If so, I'll be back posting my typical junk posts.

Michael Tomei - Tuesday, November 2nd, 2004 8:27 PM EST
I saw you guys at the shelter a year or two ago with my uncle. totally blown away with the performance, I wish you guys played more shows I could come to (only seventeen). I've turned a few of my high school buddies onto you guys, i didnt really have try hard. I'm a total proghead, but I dont think its totally fair to just dismiss the music as Rushesque. It's completely original, and I really feel you guys have done a great job of combining a mountain of influences into a very nice and accessible package. Keep it up, my compliments on the new album!

Jonathan Waller - Sunday, September 26th, 2004 2:45 AM EDT

Hello Tiles!
I really want to say that I like Window dressing a lot!
I had never heard about you until I read about you on inside out.. Since they compared you with Rush, I decided to buy the record..
One of my favourite songs is tear-water tea... really nice melodies and I love this sentence: "Can't see the forest for the trees distract our view" ...so nice =)
Good luck with everything!

Steve - Monday, August 23rd, 2004 10:11 AM EDT
Hello Tiles! I just listen to "Window dressing". Congratulations, what a great record you did again!
Go on rocking like that!
