Thanks to sharing the same publicist as Jethro Tull, Tiles was able to meet the band (except for an ill Martin Barre) for a quick chat and a few photos. Long time Tull fans, the members of Tiles were excited to meet their heros and pleasantly surprised at the hospitality shown by Tull. Ian's wife, Shona, was much too accommodating - even bringing Ian back after the meeting was over for one more photo with a late and understandably disappointed/irate Pat (stuck in traffic, then at the box office is his story!). Tull were kind enough to stock up on Tiles shirts and cds - with Ian complimenting the striking artwork by Hugh Syme. So, don't be surprised to see Ian, Martin, Doane, Andrew, or Jonathan sporting the latest in Tiles-wear or humming a few bars of Static next time you see them!
